Three Wishes!!

When yesterday morning you shared three wishes with me, I was thinking how smart my son is. It never occurred to me that we can have wishes like this.

You first narrated story of a carpenter with me, that he got three wishes. He went to his wife and asked her to use three wishes. First wish was to have long hair and second one was she wondered what will she do with long hair, so she used second wish to get rid of her hair. Her husband got upset on his wife behavior and asked for new wife. And then he never lived happily. You shared mom why he did not think twice before asking for his wishes. If I get three wishes I will have

1. I would like to fly in the world
2. I want to have wish that whenever I say money, money should come.
3. A wish that I can have number of wishes whenever I can.

I was awestruck by your presence of mind and cleverness, we have read this story in our childhood also. I never thought that option number three exists.

I love you for your expression, and wish that you remain as creative as you are today. May God bless you with a beautiful life. When you come to this blog you read wishes, and be happy to know how innocent and creative you are!!

Words and language you express...

You have become my charmer all day, I just love to speak with you. I believe you also know that I ask you same question every time to hear your little sweet, clear voice. You answer me by saying words like boo or sometimes just laugh.

You are very sharp in implementing things just like me, I get amazed to see how fast you have learned sentences from our day to day language. You speak in hindi and english both.
  • सारा नमकीन गिरा रही है , when you see something has been spilled on floor and you want us to come and notice it.
  • This is my chocolate , when you want something you want and your Bhai takes it away from you. I believe you picked this from me, when you want my bindi. I explain that this is my bindi and thats Reet bindi. You learn to express about your things.
  • Wanted ipad I always ask you what you want, you translated beautifully into wanted.
  • Wanted Water पानी water. You can translate words so beautifully and you are never wrong here.
  • Roti Paranthee Roti
  • Wanted this side, you use this sentence through out the day and don't let me sit or sleep. I use this word with you, when we go out and you go in other direction. Now when I am writing this post you have come atleast three times and moved me to your side.
  • सुनो बच्चे, मेरे दोनों बच्चे you imitate me so very well here.
  • No for you is both yes and no . Only i can understand you when you say yes and when no. Rest everyone in house is confused.
  • ऊपर लो , when i am sitting on bed and you want to come to me.
  • निचे लो
  • TV कर रही है
  • खाना खा रही है
  • नमस्ते
  • बढ़िया है , जब हम पूछते है रीत आप कैसे हो
  • आपका नाम कया है - रीत
  • you do not like to feed food specially chapati, it is amazed how you learn on your own to break donw in to small pieces.
  • When you are playing with your toys you do not want to be disturbed and then you express it by your eyes first and then if Bhai still irritates you, you know how to communicate with him without involving me.
  • You can handle many things on your own by using the words from your dictionary, you started cutie pie and cupir tie but corrected it so soon that I could not enjoy much of your innocence there.
  • You love to show your love, hug and special kisses for Bhai and you never forget to say पारी पारी. When he is angry on you on spoiling his game you complain by saying मारा कर रही है , Toys कर रही है.
  • You could call your brother name at age of 20 months and can pronounce clearly all of Siddharth friends name like ishaan, gauri, anushka, Mani.
  • Our neighbor simply love when you call her name with so much of clarity "Sumanna" You like her when she calls you a brat dont you.
  •  You love to read books on your own, you are not much fond of toys. No corner in our house has been left without your exploration. You boost yourself by saying very good whenever you do something new and pass any challenge.
  • Your memory is great, you just need to be taught/shown once. Next time I may forget the way but you are there to remind me. Then I just love look and smile in your eyes.
  • I love your hugs when you know I am low and the way you show your special love to me.
  • I am amazed at how beautifully and clearly you sometime convey to me by using whispers.
  • You and Bhai looks cute the most when you both put your finger on your lips to experss Shhhh....
  • I know you love Bhai a lot and looks forward to spend time with him.
  • When I am working in kitchen and love to open drawer which I made for you to play with your own toys,
  • Fight for everything what Bhai is doing and he is kind enough to share things with you, you need to learn how to share my dear!!
  • You sing so well at age of two year, your fav are ding dong bell, Oh my massi, who pulled her in, Bingo ( B I N G O)
  • and when you say bye bye take care which has been changed recently into bye bye see you!!
And I am glad that you are there in our life, without you my life could not have been completed. I learn patience from Siddharth but you told me how to be at peace in life. I am happy to write this post for you, so that tomorrow when you grow you can know how beautifully you expressed yourself in toddler age. And for me to read when you are building your own nest!!

Below picture of you shows how beautiful and simple you expressed yourself at everything. This was taken at Delhi Haat when I was busy talking to artist for new design, you found these Ganesha and started playing!!

Sports Day 2014

Siddharth sports day, is a demonstration of kids practise in field of athletes. All kids works hard to show us their strength on physical and concentration level to the parents and teacher. I have always enjoyed it like I enjoy all events in Siddharth School. This is the only show where I could relate it to some memories of my school days. Though it is very different from what it use to be for us.

This year sports day was very special for Siddharth as he participated in 400 meter Race. I was amazed to see him running. I could never run a complete 200 meter race and my son came won the race for 400 meters. It was a very emotional and happy moment for me.

Reet also enjoyed sports day, she was the charmer of Siddharth class, everyone wanted to hold her. She liked when they come one by one, she played with them.

Overall it was a great fun, here are some pics.

Little Artist!!

Love care and concern!!

Today I am feeling very great, happy and proud. This is the first post written by Siddharth on my blog. Siddharth school has adopted two pups.. so we decided to write on topic of love, care and concern. Here are the thoughts from Siddharth:

You should love and care everyone around you and you should be concerned. If someone gets hurt in his emotions or physically, we should take care for same. Our school philosophy is all about loving and caring of each other. Our school recently got two pups and everyone adores them

We should be concerned about nature around us and the ways to save it. Nature gives us so much like shade, wood. When it is cut and also paper when it is cut. It also gives us herbs from shrubs. It gives us fruits, furniture, water, and oxygen. It gives us coal, diamond etc. We can utilise our resources but we also need to save them in many ways like the water we use to wash our cloths can be recycled to water plants. We can also save nature by not cutting trees and not wasting water or not polluting it.

I love to read stories to my sister. I love the way she says bye take care to me when I go to school in morning. I love the way she hugs me. I love to play in school after my school gets off with my friends and with new pups in my school. Their names are marsh and mellow. Here are the few pictures my mom has clicked.

Simply Love!!

On this love day today many thought came across my mind.

I could not sleep well in night, so got up late and husband managed Siddharth for morning chores. Around 10 when he called, I first thought maybe he has called to wish me. Then when he asked about Siddharth sports day schedule, I thought how the definition of this love day changes after being married for a decade now. Love is not wishing each other on valentine, Love is to take care of each other and stand by after knowing each other weakness. Love is oneness. Love is to reschedule your meeting so that you can be present on your son’s sports day.

Love is to share your chocolate with your son. Love is to play on swing every day after reaching home with your kids. Love is to sit together, share a laugh and make up after a fight.

Love is when Reet calls fondly Siddhu. Love is when she warns herself by saying No Reet. Love is living life in those small installments of happiness. Love is to make choice to be with your kids. Love is to share a story; love is to sing aloud with your favorite song. Love is to dance.

Love is when Siddharth sits and read a book to her; love is to take care of her when I am not around.
Love is to just watch Reet drink water from a one litre bottle sitting on the street of Dubai. Love is to play games at top of world, without bothering what others will think about you. Love is to play corner corner in Qutab. Love is to capture all those moments in frames. Love is to just sit and play with a dog.
Love is to take your parents on a play and sharing those small moments of happiness with them. Love is to build a life that they are proud of it.

I am so glad that I have so many things to share love now. Not a single day but every day.
But yes I still laugh on my innocence on first valentine; when I got very emotional and made a special heart from red fleece for husband with my name embroidered on same. I still remember this day from my college, teasing each other on how many card or flower we get. Reading that message from newspaper and laughing aloud together..

I close this Valentine day today with a beautiful hug to my family for being there with me to create this lovely moments!!
I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love...it is the common fiber of life, the flame that heats our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives."

My two children!!

This place has been ignored for a very long time. Life is being so busy in juggling multiple priorities that I am not getting time to sit at peace and write for this. There are so many things which I wanted to write. Every time I notice Reet saying each word after me, Siddharth writing so many beautiful stories and poems. I want to copy paste all of them here.

Life is a bliss with two of them around. Today post is about growing with both of them. Siddharth does everything on his own and doesn't need me for any of his daily chores. He is very independent . I always use to believe that its only nine years that kids need you. I am very happy the way he has been grown. A sensitive, intelligent and caring child. He has a different view of looking and doing anything, which is very different from where I see them. I love to see him being very creative. He enjoys cooking with me. Sometimes both of us love to sit together, play and read, and at other times we just want to be in our own spaces. He is into his routine of coming from school, reading book, doing homework and getting into sleep.

Reet a charming for all of us, is always on a mission like me. She roams in the whole house and wants to try everything which we all doing. She will try her best to get what she wants. If she wants me to read her book, she will come , close my computer and tells me to read her the book. She loves to follow pattern, the way I do anything with her initial she can follow it every time. She always amazes me with her quick learning ability. At her age of 25 months she can pronounce words like squeak. She can tell her name and manage drinking water on her own from a glass. She eats Roti on own and does not like if you break it into pieces for her. She prefers to sit on dining table with us not on her chair. She loves music, can catch any tune and dances every night on songs played on my phone. She can sleep in whole night now.

I am thankful to God for these two cute children. After reading the post I am feeling so happy that I wrote this. The picture below truly depicts my life currently. The steering wheel of my life has come to my second child now.

My little Expressive Child!!

My last post was about Siddharth writing a beautiful story on his own, and this is about beautiful words my little 21 months old can speak. The life is at a contrast and i am loving it. Yes i also have my moments to feel upset few of them are when my movement get restricted. Then i come to this place, read the post, and feel great. I have made a conscious decision of not hiring a nanny for my kids. I want to enjoy their childhood... why do i pay someone to enjoy a beautiful childhood. Here are the cute words Reet can speak in her cute and clear voice.

She could say words like मम्मा,पापा, भाई, नानी, bye and tata from the age of ten months. Now for the last few days she repeats every word we say, she is our little parrot.
1. Muma is the one most clear word and of course her first word at the age of 10 month. She started saying on my brother gagan wedding.
2. Papa - There is a beautiful story behind this, she started with saying daddy the moment vivek will say Papa she would say daddy. Then one day she said Papa on 26th July 2013 (not in front of him) and now he is Papa.
3. भाई - She said Bhai very clearly and from the beginning he was Bhai and now she fondly calls him भैया and to my surprise she can say Siddharth.
4. Nanny
5. Daddy - To my dad
6. खोलो - open
7. बंद- close
8. दीदी
9. गीता - Our Domestic help
10. Thank you - When you give anything to her you will hear a beautiful sound of Thank you
11. काकुच - When she want to eat snack, fruit
12. खाना- She know a clear difference between a meal and snack.
13. रोटी
14. Wow
15. Oh oh!
16. Shoe - whenever i get ready she will start following me saying shoe...
17. Park - When  we wear her the shoe, or we get down to the park.. the first word is park and second is swing
18. पानी - water
19. Peek a boo
20. Jingle - The moment she will sit on her high chair for food she will say jingle means play jingle bells for me and then Bingo
21. Dance - Lets dance
22. हट - GO away
23.Cow, Pig, Cat
24. Come lets go
25. No No
26. दादी
27. I touch - I wonder why we call it ipad...

While writing this i just learned that she can say many words and is on the journey to express her beautifully....

Magic Wand

Yesterday Siddharth wrote a beautiful story on Hamara Mela ( His schools birthday celebration happened on sep 28th)

I was on hamara mela in the magic land, i found a real wand. Suddenly i felt like something was pulling me towards it. I could not hold of it and jerked me and i went flying into the sky. Then there was a flash of pink light and i fell on something soft!.....
Where was i what was this thing i felt really sacred and pretty hungry. I got up and saw i was lying on a hay and it looked like i was in a forest. Suddenly two little creatures came out the bushes they move they were as small as honeybees and insects.
The first thing i felt was excitement then it grew into fear. I went to their homes and hey told me they were faries. All of them talked happily and joked till fairy queen told me that a goblin was troubling them and the holder of pink wand could kill it. ....
I went to the goblins lair and waited for it to the goblin fought violently but i killed them and once again peace was restored in fairy land. we had a great feast and the everything went pink and i was in my homes backyard again.
So many children begged me to tell me my adventures that i wrote a story about it and you have just finished reading it.

A wonderful story, reminds me of the day of writing about him when he just learned how to talk and today he narrates a story. I am felling so happy that my purpose of thins blog is getting fulfilled, signing off now with a promise to me that i will be more regular in writing here... God Bless!!
