Simply Love!!

On this love day today many thought came across my mind.

I could not sleep well in night, so got up late and husband managed Siddharth for morning chores. Around 10 when he called, I first thought maybe he has called to wish me. Then when he asked about Siddharth sports day schedule, I thought how the definition of this love day changes after being married for a decade now. Love is not wishing each other on valentine, Love is to take care of each other and stand by after knowing each other weakness. Love is oneness. Love is to reschedule your meeting so that you can be present on your son’s sports day.

Love is to share your chocolate with your son. Love is to play on swing every day after reaching home with your kids. Love is to sit together, share a laugh and make up after a fight.

Love is when Reet calls fondly Siddhu. Love is when she warns herself by saying No Reet. Love is living life in those small installments of happiness. Love is to make choice to be with your kids. Love is to share a story; love is to sing aloud with your favorite song. Love is to dance.

Love is when Siddharth sits and read a book to her; love is to take care of her when I am not around.
Love is to just watch Reet drink water from a one litre bottle sitting on the street of Dubai. Love is to play games at top of world, without bothering what others will think about you. Love is to play corner corner in Qutab. Love is to capture all those moments in frames. Love is to just sit and play with a dog.
Love is to take your parents on a play and sharing those small moments of happiness with them. Love is to build a life that they are proud of it.

I am so glad that I have so many things to share love now. Not a single day but every day.
But yes I still laugh on my innocence on first valentine; when I got very emotional and made a special heart from red fleece for husband with my name embroidered on same. I still remember this day from my college, teasing each other on how many card or flower we get. Reading that message from newspaper and laughing aloud together..

I close this Valentine day today with a beautiful hug to my family for being there with me to create this lovely moments!!
I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love...it is the common fiber of life, the flame that heats our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives."
