Sports Day 2014

Siddharth sports day, is a demonstration of kids practise in field of athletes. All kids works hard to show us their strength on physical and concentration level to the parents and teacher. I have always enjoyed it like I enjoy all events in Siddharth School. This is the only show where I could relate it to some memories of my school days. Though it is very different from what it use to be for us.

This year sports day was very special for Siddharth as he participated in 400 meter Race. I was amazed to see him running. I could never run a complete 200 meter race and my son came won the race for 400 meters. It was a very emotional and happy moment for me.

Reet also enjoyed sports day, she was the charmer of Siddharth class, everyone wanted to hold her. She liked when they come one by one, she played with them.

Overall it was a great fun, here are some pics.

Love care and concern!!

Today I am feeling very great, happy and proud. This is the first post written by Siddharth on my blog. Siddharth school has adopted two pups.. so we decided to write on topic of love, care and concern. Here are the thoughts from Siddharth:

You should love and care everyone around you and you should be concerned. If someone gets hurt in his emotions or physically, we should take care for same. Our school philosophy is all about loving and caring of each other. Our school recently got two pups and everyone adores them

We should be concerned about nature around us and the ways to save it. Nature gives us so much like shade, wood. When it is cut and also paper when it is cut. It also gives us herbs from shrubs. It gives us fruits, furniture, water, and oxygen. It gives us coal, diamond etc. We can utilise our resources but we also need to save them in many ways like the water we use to wash our cloths can be recycled to water plants. We can also save nature by not cutting trees and not wasting water or not polluting it.

I love to read stories to my sister. I love the way she says bye take care to me when I go to school in morning. I love the way she hugs me. I love to play in school after my school gets off with my friends and with new pups in my school. Their names are marsh and mellow. Here are the few pictures my mom has clicked.

Simply Love!!

On this love day today many thought came across my mind.

I could not sleep well in night, so got up late and husband managed Siddharth for morning chores. Around 10 when he called, I first thought maybe he has called to wish me. Then when he asked about Siddharth sports day schedule, I thought how the definition of this love day changes after being married for a decade now. Love is not wishing each other on valentine, Love is to take care of each other and stand by after knowing each other weakness. Love is oneness. Love is to reschedule your meeting so that you can be present on your son’s sports day.

Love is to share your chocolate with your son. Love is to play on swing every day after reaching home with your kids. Love is to sit together, share a laugh and make up after a fight.

Love is when Reet calls fondly Siddhu. Love is when she warns herself by saying No Reet. Love is living life in those small installments of happiness. Love is to make choice to be with your kids. Love is to share a story; love is to sing aloud with your favorite song. Love is to dance.

Love is when Siddharth sits and read a book to her; love is to take care of her when I am not around.
Love is to just watch Reet drink water from a one litre bottle sitting on the street of Dubai. Love is to play games at top of world, without bothering what others will think about you. Love is to play corner corner in Qutab. Love is to capture all those moments in frames. Love is to just sit and play with a dog.
Love is to take your parents on a play and sharing those small moments of happiness with them. Love is to build a life that they are proud of it.

I am so glad that I have so many things to share love now. Not a single day but every day.
But yes I still laugh on my innocence on first valentine; when I got very emotional and made a special heart from red fleece for husband with my name embroidered on same. I still remember this day from my college, teasing each other on how many card or flower we get. Reading that message from newspaper and laughing aloud together..

I close this Valentine day today with a beautiful hug to my family for being there with me to create this lovely moments!!
I have never met a person whose greatest need was anything other than real, unconditional love. You can find it in a simple act of kindness toward someone who needs help. There is no mistaking love...it is the common fiber of life, the flame that heats our soul, energizes our spirit and supplies passion to our lives."

My two children!!

This place has been ignored for a very long time. Life is being so busy in juggling multiple priorities that I am not getting time to sit at peace and write for this. There are so many things which I wanted to write. Every time I notice Reet saying each word after me, Siddharth writing so many beautiful stories and poems. I want to copy paste all of them here.

Life is a bliss with two of them around. Today post is about growing with both of them. Siddharth does everything on his own and doesn't need me for any of his daily chores. He is very independent . I always use to believe that its only nine years that kids need you. I am very happy the way he has been grown. A sensitive, intelligent and caring child. He has a different view of looking and doing anything, which is very different from where I see them. I love to see him being very creative. He enjoys cooking with me. Sometimes both of us love to sit together, play and read, and at other times we just want to be in our own spaces. He is into his routine of coming from school, reading book, doing homework and getting into sleep.

Reet a charming for all of us, is always on a mission like me. She roams in the whole house and wants to try everything which we all doing. She will try her best to get what she wants. If she wants me to read her book, she will come , close my computer and tells me to read her the book. She loves to follow pattern, the way I do anything with her initial she can follow it every time. She always amazes me with her quick learning ability. At her age of 25 months she can pronounce words like squeak. She can tell her name and manage drinking water on her own from a glass. She eats Roti on own and does not like if you break it into pieces for her. She prefers to sit on dining table with us not on her chair. She loves music, can catch any tune and dances every night on songs played on my phone. She can sleep in whole night now.

I am thankful to God for these two cute children. After reading the post I am feeling so happy that I wrote this. The picture below truly depicts my life currently. The steering wheel of my life has come to my second child now.
