Chak De INDIA!

This post is not about the review of the movie… But the things happened in such a way that this title was best suitable…

Gag did some booking for the Chak De .. for the night show at 10.45 PM on the independence eve. The dinner was at his house and then all of us were going together for movie.. We started from home around 8.30 PM. To our surprise three was a traffic jam on the road, since it is the mountain road, on one particular turn people overtake and clog the traffic… After waiting for minutes, I and Vivek decided to come out of the car to manage the traffic on the road… We did that in less than 20 minutes.. To every passing car i was communicating please don’t overtake just drive in your lane… People lowered down their windows, thanks you are doing a great job, i thought everyone wants to do the same it just the initiative…

Reached Gag home, had dinner and started for the movie, when we were at a distance of 10 minutes from the movie Hall, Traffic got dead.. I could not tolerate it for more than 20 minutes, and came out of the car.. A young man from one car asked me What’s happening, I said come and help us to solve the traffic your partner will drive the car.. He was Deep.
Finally me , Vivek and Deep were on the road managing traffic, there were people who drove their car to the wrong lane and choked it, Deep was saying it is impossible, I told him don’t worry let’s start telling these people to take their cars back. Once you are on the road, you will be shocked by the attitude of the people. There was a man sitting in a car of Govt of India and driving in wrong lane. I told him if you do the mistake how you will stop others. Many of them refused to take their cars back; I have to share with them there is no way you can reach your destination by driving in wrong lane. I have left my three year old son in the car with my brother and have come down to solve it, kindly co operate.
I was amazed at myself and my confidence of convincing a mass of educated people to take their cars back… and got the title of Jhansi Ki rani from Deep…
We were their at the Movie hall 10 minutes late from the scheduled time, the moment we were inside the hall. Movie was yet not started.. All of us were shouting with joy…
INDIA’s Birthday and Mama’s B’day :

Siddharth was sharing with everyone today is India birthday (her school teacher taught him) and mama’s Birthday (we taught him) In the middle of CHAK DE everyone was wishing me happy birthday and Flag of India was fluttering on the screen….

I always have these mixed feeling of Independence day and my birthday.. Birthday on 15th
August and name Swatantra is the greatest thing after Siddharth happened to me….. Thanks to my Nana Ji and my parents….
The day was full of adventures for Siddharth from Kite Playing to Bungee Jump to meeting Sanika and Sanjay….

It started with the Kite Flying at Siddharth’s School, there we met sanjay. He came to me and asked can I have the kite. I started taking to him, where are your parents, I was amazed at his confidence he came alone, his mom works in a house nearby to the school. Siddharth and Sanjay became friends and played together.
In the evening gag and his friends brought the cake… Birthday kissi ka bhi ho cake will be cut by Siddharth.. He loves to cut cake and eat cakes… After the cake we were down in the park, for the celebration of Independence Day.

There we met Sanika, Siddharth friend (read girl friend) she was wearing a backless dress and big earrings and this boy went crazy on her… He was after Sanika. Usually in park he always wants me to around him, but today he wanted Sanika to be around. If she was going away he was crying. I was shocked Eh mera putar hai…..
The day was full of fun from Chak de to Crazy kiya re…..

Santro & Me!

Saturday working at office! Really don't like as Vivek and Siddharth has holiday and i go office and they have fun together.... miss this fun part..

When today afternoon i was coming back from office in a hot afternoon, i was heading for the lunch at Gaggi home in valley view. All of a sudden the car stopped, petrol got finished in the car.. Scooter ke reserve wali adaat abhi tak gayi nahi.. Vivek and Siddharth were out to Delhi in their program at Nehru Planetarium...

Luckily i could park the car on one side of the road, first called up Gaggi i will be late, what to do on this hot afternoon of MG road in Gurgaon....Thinking who can help me, Called up Surinder, he is an amazing person in finding the solution for all the different kind of work, he was the one who did my help in converting my dream of Siddharth’s room into reality. His works are amazing. He was around, but took him half an hour to reach..

I was thinking i always had good memories of santro..

I locked the car, had a book in my bag.. Started reading it. I was sweating like anything but was enjoying my reading in the car... it reminded me of the day when i was waiting for Vivek at the parking of his office in the santro ( it was raining that day) and made the teddy bear in the car as we both were going for a movie after that....

I was reading the book, Surinder came with two big pepsi bottle filled with petrol. Filled the tank, started for Gaggi home.. His home is in Arravali mountain area of Gurgaon, got stuck in the jam... came back for home, i was too hungry and nothing was cooked at home.

Saw a Dhaba sideways, got the dal , again read the book and then came home to finish the reading....

Thanks Santro, i had enjoyed my weekend with you!!

Siddharth the designer!!

From the puzzle making Siddharth has moved to making organized patterns… I am not sure whether he inheriting this from me or his own innovations…
This animal kingdom he made, year ago…

One afternoon he made this design when no one was around him. His understanding of sequence, symmetry was incredible.. I was feeling proud of him.. The best thing, this is complete his innovation no influence from me… All these designs he mkaes on his own.. The way he put his concentration is remarkable... I asked Siddhrth what is this design he said aeroplane.. how is this an aeroplane.. Block se is his answer...

Today morning he presented another design from his blocks, i am amazed by his innovation…

Find a way or Make a way!

I bought an activity book for Siddharth along with so many other plane, fun with words on my few days back visit to the bangalore from Blossom Book store. The concept of the book is very neat. It contains the activity like find a way, colours, count big small objects…
I remember in our times, getting these kinds of books was so tough. I use to get only one or two it’s kind of puzzles in Comic Champak..

Siddharth was amazing in understanding the concept in a minute and making the way for the caterpillar to reach to the leaf.
Today morning he came to me and asked me Mamma there is no way for the Auntie to reach to the house can u find, I was surprised and actually there was no way for the Auntie to reach to the house the puzzle was printed wrong..
I just made one line out the puzzle and showed him, since the auntie is old so she cannot go in a zig zag manner let her go in the simple way…

It reminded me of solving the puzzle for getting the death by chocolate ice cream for Vivek from Corner House Bangalore.
I went to the shop and asked him about taking the ice cream to Delhi, he refused and said it can only stay for half an hour.

I was in a no mood to leave it, so got the understanding from him how do they make it. What are the ingredients he explained me there is a cake, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Then I requested him can you give me cake and sauce separate and leave the vanilla part the rest all are your specialty and ice cream is the part which will melt and spoil the whole thing. By taking things separate i can prepare DBC complete at home.
And we finally enjoyed DBC after making the way for the caterpillar to eat leaf…

I have learned from Siddharth or he has learned from me... is still a puzzle to solve...

Back to Work!!

I am back to work since one weak.. and I am so busy that could not get time to even write about it..

It was difficult for Siddharth to adjust again to the fact that Mummy is working.. Hats off to him he is so mature.. I explained him baby mamma is going to work now, mamma will earn some money for your toys, puzzles and many more things you want.. And mamma wants to work because the way I love to be with you the same way I love to work.. .. He said ok.. Now everyday he asks me money earn ho Gaya do mujhe…

I joined a company manufactures food ingredients. My role is into business development.

The day is exciting, challenging, thrilling and enjoyable.. starts with playing a puzzle with Siddharth in his classroom to going back and picking him from the day care.

Last one week was hectic in terms of understanding the business, the great thing is I have two people reporting to me.. I was amazed at myself the way i have handled these two people beautifully in the last one week.

They say... You cannot learn swimming by sitting on the bank of the river…it has come so true for me… I have come to know so many other positive things about me by joining this job…

I am sure it will be setting another milestone in my professional life…

Weekend Full of Masti...

This weekend was full of masti, fun and challenges…had to write about it…
All of us started it with a jigsaw puzzle of 100 pieces Jungle safari.. … Siddharth was looking at both mamma and papa … app kya kar rahe ho, then with the momentum catching up he also started to find the pieces and our team could put all the pieces together.. It was amazing to see it from top that it deserved a lovely picture..

Sunday morning was a visit to the Siddharth’s Dadu and Daddi’s house… he had the fun there with Sugar cane juice, litchi, mast aloo ka sabji, and mangoes…

There he got the interactive and educational game sent byChachu and Chachi from US (Thanks Piya) … when we opened, Siddharth was so excited that in few minutes we all were on the floor saying BINGO!! (A part of the game where if u completes one line you have to take ur arms out and say it)
In the night we discovered a young TT player in us, yes Siddharth.. at Mammu’s office nearby we went for TT play.. Leaving all of us in a shock stage Siddharth played very well and hit the ball for many no of times…
I was also able to manage a good game after many years but Siddharth was WOW!

Garmi Kee Chutiyaan …

Siddharth summer vocation started on 5th may…

Now a days there are so many hype for the summer camp, I don’t really believe into it.. I really wonder whether they are so useful yesterday morning during the walk around 6.30 I saw one mother dragging her child to the school bus for the summer camp… I felt pity on both …so early in the morning a child of age 3.5 years is woken up and send to the activities…

Thanks to my vocation, I am all the time available for Siddharth, and the amount of energy he is having i don’t need to any brain exercise.
I am sure Siddharth is enjoying his holidays with me, we have the fun all time from a shower bath in the morning at the park, juggling with the puzzle, making roti in the kitchen, playing with the sand in the evening and to the book reading in the night……

l

After looking at all the above funny pictures, it makes me sad that holidays for both us are vanishing very fast…and there is so much to do in next few days….

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Father’s day

There are advertisements all over the paper and in the news about Father’s day.

How can we dedicate only a single day to our Parents…. Will it be justice to dedicate only one day to show them how much we love…?

I feel proud of my parents… They make a vision of our success… and they have accomplished ….. Many bows to you Mummy Daddy….

My mom always wanted me to work so she took the responsibility of growing Siddharth with her so that I can work…It was not the responsibility she took, it was those initial challenges in growing Siddharth and never made me aware of a single hard thing they have faced during that time…

I could not get the job in my field for almost five months, they were in constant touch with me for any luck on job but never realized me that how fast they wanted that I should get back to work..

I was just thinking of the days, Daddy scolded me when i was not helping Mummy into her household work…. but that scolding gave me a power of never give up for anything…

I grew up in a very healthy and love filled home…. They provided me everything I needed at that time and the good reason for my unimportant wishes…

I love and respect them throughout my life for the simplicity and honesty they have given me in inheritance…

We all siblings started our journey from cycle to car… my younger brother was planning to buy a car now when i suggested him to call Daddy for the same, that’s one of the way you can celebrate with them…

I always believed into sharing small happiness with my parents… to make them happy and great……. Not waiting for this 3rd weak start day of the June .

I read somewhere that the only relationship on this earth not based on mutual benefit is the relationship with the parents…..

We love you Mummy Daddy!

Phone when mobile.......

Siddharth passed his urine on my mobile phone… Mobile phone was lying on the bed and he did it on the bed... The phone was dead along with all the data in it…

Few friends no i remembers by memory… When daddy came to know about this he told me not to buy a new handset as he has just blocked his phone.. i can use his handset..

The no in Dad’s phone was Punjab number, it almost took one month time to get it blocked and to shift my no on it…

This one month was more peaceful for me without the mobile, I never felt handicapped though people around me were bit annoyed, because at certain times they were unable to reach me…

Somehow i am not convinced of carrying mobile every time with me… there are benefits also but it is a nuisance when a credit card or a personal loan company calls you when i am in some important conversation with Siddharth, he is sleeping in the afternoon…..

Life was cool without any phones, i wish I could get back those days……

Yesterday evening I was upset about my car as I hit the it in the pillar while parking, there was so much of space but I was absent minded… I amnever like this.. I am careful about the things around me ….. That’s the reason which made me upset..

He came to me Mamma kya hua, aapko TV dekhne … I said no bachha I am just thning about the car… then he put his little hands over my shoulders and said, mein appe lye paani lata hoon.. he went to the kitchen and then came back.. Mamma aap aayo he holded my finger ….. took me to the kitchen and asked me for a galss of water and then said piyo paani piyo..

Then he took me to his play room and said Mamma hum puzzle banaye….

I was just looking at him and thinking is it the Noi … my small baby….

Siddharth and Tiger!!

On the weekend of Good Friday we visited ramnagar and Corbett National Park…

The place we stayed was good, one day before to good Friday was an election day in delhi, every other car you see was having the delhi number.. it created so much of rush there that the entry to the Corbett park became difficult…

After spending four hours at the office of the forest department we got the tickets…
The Kosi river was just flowing at a distance of one kilometer from the cottage we were staying…
We had a great time at the river, we sat on the stones and let the water flow beneath us.. Siddharth was initially scared of putting is feet in the water.. i made him sit in my lap then told him to put his feet in the water, and made sure to him that mamma will not leave him, ... within very short time he got comfortable and sat alone on the stone….
There was one stone which was inside the water, the flow was very high there, i challenged Vivek to go onto the stone… he did that … it is amazing of him to go inside the water….
Next day early morning we started our journey to the Corbett Park… we were in the canter… At one the canter was stopped on a very height of the river to show us the animal if they come to drink water.. We saw the crocodile…

When we were going back to the canter, Siddharth fall down and there was a blood on his face, I picked him and got scared to see two holes in between the chick and lips… T
his was the first experience of us and Siddharth… the blood was flowing continuously… Somehow by putting cold water sugar I was able to make the blood flow stop, Siddharth was asking me Tiger dekhne chalo, we all were amazed on his bravery….
We were in the middle of the jungle, where we could not get any first aid , hoping for some car to get so that we can go back to the ramnagar and take Siddharth to the doctor… and our prayer were answered, a gypsy was coming on the opposite route.. we reached Ramnagar… and got Siddharth treated from the doctor, he was fine no stitches were made…
I was wondering that how early these kids forget everything, he was in the water on the same evening, playing with boats and wanted to do the hand gliding…

He was okay till the time they set the hand glider, at the last moment he said I will go with mamma.. That was not possible as i was not trained.. so I did the hand glider with a trainer…. It was a great feeling to be in sky like a bird…. The most amazing thing was acknowledgement and Siddharth telling everyone Mamma ne hand gliding ke thee…

On the way back we showed Siddharth termite house, a small meeting with the monkeys, a visit to the fields of golden wheat( Kanak deeyan baliayan)……

With all these long and sweet memories we are back home…………………
Siddharth is full of actions again... when he looks at pictures he will say mujhe chot lagi thee.. lekin paani mein mazza aaya.. phir chalo... corbett jungle.......

Enjoying Togetherness!!

A small girl walking on the railing at inner circle of CP made my day on one morning going for the course in Lead Auditor for the food safety management system …..

I lowered the glass of my side window said to her in Hindi bahut ache... She gave me a big smile, I waved at her, I could see from my side mirror she waved back at me and a twinkle in her eyes… I wish I could have camera. She made my day..
Next day I took my camera, but she was not there…

The whole process of doing the course was like going back to the college days…..I really enjoyed each and every moment from going early in the morning driving car on the NH 8, reaching at CP in 27 min and amazing victor by sharing this with him to the seeing of airplane landing and taking off from a very close distance …..It is so exciting.

The most happening thing to this course was the trainer my friend, Chinu mere dukh sukh ka saathi… Few days were tough in managing Siddharth, since after Jan this was the first time he went to the day care, Mamma aap roj roj kahaan jate ho… I sat with him and explained him about the training, about the hotel and now if I ask him Siddharth mamma ko course kaun see massi karwati hai he will say very cutely Chunu massi.. and we both will laugh ….

Mona my sweet friend, also did the course with me, first day when she was near the building and she called Chinu on phone to know the address, I was so excited to meet her that I told Chinu I will go and get her here…

My heart was beating meeting Mona after so many years, and there she was ek dum suki patli as she was always…

All five days Mona and me sat together, did our assignments together, writing with the pen, ate together and did the shopping together at CP on the last day….

A friend is the most precious thing on this earth, you don’t pretend for anything in front of them.. Both of them tried hard to make me convince to buy a kurta of their own choice and ended up helping me in selecting the kurta of my choice….

May GOD bless our friendship with many more moments of togetherness and bless them with happiness in their own space of life!!!!

Visit to the Roots!!

Last week along with Siddharth I went to Punjab, there was a marriage in the family, my Bua (My father’s sister) son was getting married.. He moved to UK two years back, and was having an affair with this girl, first love marriage in my Dad’s family…

I had great fun, this is the only time you can meet all your cousins and other relatives.. and everyone is excited by my enthusiasm, putting them together at one place for the sangeet and dhol… we had great time till midnight…
Siddharth was quite excited at the marriage, but he didn’t liked the Dj music .. mamma mere kaan mein dard ho raha hai, aapki awaz nahi sun rahi ghar chalo.. I really appreciate the way he is so clear and honest at expressing his thoughts…

After the marriage, we were at home in sangrur.. all the days Siddharth was in the water in the bucket, he had the great fun in the water.. he was not at all coming out of the water bucket.. mom was wondering how has he managed his way with the bucket…

I was more close to Siddharth in the last few days, as there was nothing to distract us, I was enjoying talking of Siddharth sitting in the rickshaw, and he is more cute when he puts his finger on my cheeks and says Mamma aap bade cutie pie ho…

Sangrur is an amazing place, as it is a small city, you can roam in the whole city by sitting on a paddle rickshaw, there are trees outside our home, animals gazing in the street..

Har ek chera apna sa lagta hai… har ek awaz mujhe bulati hai…
Har ek jagah un bite dino ke yaad dilati hai……….
