Josh Trip 3 - GOA

Long weekend and amazing offers at airlines.. made it possible to book the air ticket for complete family for GOA in a nice resort. The journey started on 9th April, reached resort and headed for the nearby beach Vagator.. Sidddharth was asking me where is sand, water.. as he wanted to play with his new sand kit at GOA.. siddharth playing with his new sand kit at Vagator beach
The sunset was beautiful at the vagator beach, the color of the water was deep blue during the sunset. Next day morning we were roaming around the resort to get a bike on rent, started moving out of the resort and took a lift from a man who dropped us at the place where all the people live who give bike on rent. Then Vivek saw a bike standing in someones backyard, and he said i want this bike only. We tried to look for the owner of this bike and found him finally.. below we all on the new rented bike. and then here vivek and siddharth on a bike in water at Baaga Beach, i must say when siddharth was far he made scare the mom's heart... and when they were back siddharth was talking about that the driver drove it slow...
This was Siddharth's first experience in ocean, initially he was scared but then he was going too far in ocean that he made me scared...

and this was really amazing when siddharth hide himself under the sand....
I remember when i went to GOA three years back alone on a business trip, the taxi driver took me to arambol beach and i love it going there since that day, but this time it was fascinating to watch and click siddharth on this beach when he was running after the birds to catch them..
The luckiest thing happened during our visit to Chaopra Fort, the view of the sea from this fort is beautiful, you feel like sitting there. On the way up to Chaopora fort, i lost my wallet, it was kept in a bag and by mistake i hold the bag in a reverse position, Vivek was coming behind me when he mentioned about it and i could check my keys and vivek wallet. when we reached up on the fort, i looked for my wallet in the bag and it was not there in the bag.. I told vivek i am going back and want to look for it..i went back and found it on the way and i was feeling so lucky... so this trip should be named as lucky Josh TRIP... what say?
Below is our names together on the sand....
yadein bus yadein rah jaati hai.................

There is a big whale, and a small whale swimming in a sea with a boy...!!!

Journey of one year... Truly Natural

Today is the 1st birthday of Truly Natural... Truly natural i gave this name to my company as we deal into completely natural products.... We celebrate the birthday from the day we are out on the earth but we born the day we are conceived in the womb.. the name comes later...
We celebrated today the 1st birthday with a cake cut and a special dinner... and a movie on hope...JAI ho!! Thirteen February, Truly Natural was conceived. I conceived an idea of staring on my own..
This one year has been full of challenge, initial days were as tough as they are today... we did a good business and crossed one milestone of turnover... The main challenge was working from home , managing Siddharth, completing orders on time..overcoming challenges which were just thrown on me... but i loved all this... i loved to be free, loved to be on my own, loved that Vivek showered his support, loved the way Siddharth calls Mamma's company name, loved to be my own boss, loved my first order, loved my first challenge, loved my fears, love to be woken up in the nights about the dreams, loved to work on those early morning, loved my article in newspaper, loved the hope from nothing, loved the different views about me and my company.....loved to write this post!!!
Happy Birthday Truly Natural!!

Abra ka dabra

New words to be learn from Siddharth.. Siddharth look so cute when he says the below words in his own language i call it as Abra ka dabra.. it would be a nice idea to keep a record of these words:
Namak is Manak
Pazami is zamami

Technology is katnology

Takila is katila

Katori is takori

Ganja is Janga
Today i learnt Almirah is Amlirah

If you ask him Siddharth say namak very cutely he will say manak.. Though he can say it right also but he knows i smile if he says it wrong..

The new year started with a josh trip to Rajasthan and within twenty days there was another exciting trip done...i believe it is going to be a series ... this is JOSH TRIP 2 and 3 is already planned... ?????

26th Jan. was long weekend... we didn't made any plans to go for any excursion. i was thinking to get some carpenter work done at my office.. but destiny was different.

My mom always says, jithoon da dana paani likyaa piyogee.. so it was destine to spend the weekend at AGRA .. The TAJ.. our first visit to TAJ with Siddharth.. The trip started with the excitement, as our friends got some booking earlier and asked us to join them. Since it was a long weekend we didn't get any booking and then a few hours before our booking was confirmed so we packed our bags and headed for AGRA.

Taj has always been magnificent to me i have loved the first look of TAJ, we Indians have done a marvelous job in building the TAJ....

Make a rule or break a rule!

We made one rule at the home for Siddharth, that he can watch one cartoon a day on TV. Else it is a never ending process for him.

For the last many days he stopped having lunch at school and the Tiffin will be untouched. Sometimes it made me sad, as I prepare special lunch for him of his own choice and being a mother it is always in mind mere putar ne khana khaya ya nahi….

So we made another rule, that if Siddharth doesn’t finish his lunch he cannot watch cartoon. Whenever I go to pick Siddharth from the school, he is finishing his lunch and the moment he will see me, he will run towards me and say Mamma aaj to mujhe one cartoon dekhne dego…. …. It makes me laugh on his innocence…

Sometimes if he is in a mood to watch another cartoon, he breaks the rule so smartly that I even cannot think of doing this... The moment one cartoon finishes he will say Mamma the first cartoon was not a cartoon it was an advertisement... and it was a big advertisement… I am again laughing and thinking that what a smart idea to break the rule…..

And I am again thinking…………to make a new rule…………………..

Jaipur to Jaisalmer ..josh trip One !

This new year started with a trip to Jaipur, the plan was to go on the weekend before new year, but could not go as we all got busy into work. So it was postponed to next weekend, as it was destine to have the twist in the tale so it was postponed. The twist happened when we just reached Jaipur, we took one wrong turn to the way of resort at Jaipur and that turn became the turning point. The drive to the road was so beautiful that we decided to move further and the thoughts came to my mind let’s drive further and go to Jaisalmer the desert city… Vivek was like are you crazy it is drive of another 500 km or more .. I was convinced as we have four days off we can do it and let’s go… The car was stopped at one point and we did some search on the google, thanks to internet which made the plan successful and added flavours to it… first checked about the distance, then decided to have a halt at Jodhpur and move further..

Day 1 : 1st Jan On the way to Jodhpur
The sun was going for the day, and it made the view so beautiful... We stopped for a while ... It was amazing and after driving the car close to 600 KM we were not feeling tired and Siddharth and Vivek has all the energy to climb on the mountain of stones and cactus…they are looking so fresh in this photo..
Reached Jodhpur stayed at one of the heritage property Karni Bhawan, very good resort good food and good ambience and celebrated our first 600 km with the good music of rajsthani sitar….

Day 2: Jodhpur city
Second day morning was so fresh., visited the Mehrangarh Fort ( meharn means the citadel of sun) this was the first fort we visted together , quite useful and learning.. Siddharth wanted to play with the Top machines, he was so curious to see a big fort.. The another amazing fact, from the fort you can see blue house, in the old time King use to paint the house of Brahmin with the Blue color so that he can know from his fort looking at the color of the house, this tradition is still continued and gives us a magnificent view. Siddharth remembers this in his own way the people to whom king lovedhe painted their house with blue color.. On the walls of the fort there are few paintings still there called as fosil paintings. After the grand visit to the fort the journey towards Jaisalmer was started, to the way to Pokhran the city of birth for the nuclear atoms in INDIA, and started the way to desert.. Siddharth first step on the sand, on the way we saw the fields of Sarsoon in the desert, gives an example of hope and opportunity… We saw huge windmills on the way… and finally reached Sam dunes our final destination.. we were just 60 KM away from India Pakistan Border……

Day 3: 3rd Jan Jaisalmer Jaisalmer Fort,

the only fort in INDIA where people are still residing inside the fort. There are shops, hotels and homes, temples inside the fort. There is a tradition, whenever someone gets marry they print their name outside the house and the same is written till the next marriage in the same house. We had a wonderful visit to this fort.. and started towards the sand dunes… Siddharth was excited for the ride on camel… We were going in our own tune.. and just forget to get the fuel for car.. the car stopped .. Siddharth sat on the driving wheel and Vivek was pushing the car… got the lift from one of the local person and got the fuel for the car… On the camel ride Siddharth was getting uncomfortable and he decided to walk with the camel man.. it was quite funny me and vivek were on the camel and Siddharth was walking… It was good time at sand, watched the local dance, the sunset at the Jaisalmer…

clicked at sand dunes..
Moments of Siddharth excitement to see sand everywhere...
Day 4: Back to Gurgaon
Early morning started out the journey for Gurgaon. Someone suggested it is better to take Bikaner route on the way back and it was right suggestion, the road from jaisalmer to Bikaner was too good no traffic single road but straight …
Celebrated back to Gurgaon with the Gajar ka halwa in the winters here….. Yes the memories of the fun are still alive……
our first steps together at sand .. jaisalmer
yadein rah jati hain.........

I explained Siddharth today is the last day on the calendars of 2008, from tomorrow onwards a new year will start .. we believe that the new year gives you the new opportunities so you wish everyone Happy new year! He said in a very innocent manner no one has wished me happy new year! I immediately hugged him and wished him happy new year… We reached home, he saw our Gardener coming to our house.. he asked me Mamma what mamu told me in English was it happy ed I got immediately and corrected him Happy new year! He instantly went to our Gardener and wished him Happy new year! That was very sweet of him i was asking to myself are we also so adapting the way these kids are!

Here we are in the new year! Many good things happened… 2008 brought a turning point in my life, left the job and joined on a mission to fulfil my dreams! Hamara Manch 2008!

Saturday was an annual function at Siddharth school, they name it as Hamara manchSiddharth day was started with the chant of om in the class and then the Gayathri mantar,

The teacher has written hamara manch on the stage, The way it was written was very creative; you cannot guess in the first go that it is alphabets... that is the theory of the school that there any many unfolded and unseen layers on the children mind which we overlook…

Siddharth learnt the whole poem; I was amazed when they started practice he did not enjoy much, he use to share with me Mamma maine aur kunwar ne practice kharab kar dee... I was just listening and wanted him to take his own decision… Then a day before Hamara manch he shared Mamaa didi (class teacher they call didi) ne bola aap sab achaa karo aur hamara manch achaa ho jayegaaa… then he was with full of his energy and then reciting the whole poem with actions I was again listening to him... it was fun and quite impressive of Siddharth that he remembered the whole poem specially the Three parrots which is a favorite of Me, Vivek and Siddharth….

Below are the pictures of his stage performance….

There was a stage performance, where the kids were making the map of india and representing national integrity, looking at that had tears in my eyes….

Siddharth best friends Amreen sarah, also came with us, and these all had great fun on the slider at the school including Vivek….

and everybody was telling Vivek to deposit the fee at the school!

Fun with the Colors!

Siddharth completed five years of his life by God’s blessing on this Nov. seven. Till now his birthday has been a very close celebration with the family, as i have always felt the kids get ignored, though this birthday also it was the same. But he enjoyed a lot as it was whole of his class. Yes it was great responsibility, and we don’t want to celebrate it in a common way not at Pizza hut or any other restaurants, what could be different. Few days back, I and Siddharth went to the colour factory to paint a pottery; there it clicked me the idea for the birthday party….

It was a complete fun with the colors, you paint your feelings, you express your feeling by painting... it's your own creativity yes few kids were biased by their mom to chose the right piece of pottery to paint, sometimes i really feel why we need to impose our wishes on these kids.. anyways this blog is not about this...

And it came out amazing, all the kids, mom loved it… the day started with the making of Piñata bag, where you fill it with the toffee, pencil, or whatever u feel and then break in the party..

All the kids were given a choice; to choose a piece to paint and then paint it with your own choice of colours… they bake this pottery in the kiln and then gave back to you... The below pictures shows how engrossed kids were…
