Koi Baat Nahi!

Siddharth has started reasoning in his talks… he wanted some toffee which her cousin gave him and I believe he lost in the car, Vivek was telling him if it is not in the car we will not go to the market… He didn’t agree .. Finally they went and he came to me.. Mamma I have got chocolate, toffee milli nahi.. I said Siddharth there are chocolate lying at home why did you buy.. Koi baat nahi Mamma Badi chocolate to nahi padi ghar pe…

Yesterday he threw the oil bottle at temple by mistake… I asked politely Siddharth what happened… I broke this lekin jaan bhooj ke nahi giraya galti se ho gaya… On listening this from a kid of four years I was just laughing and telling him… Siddharth koi baat nahi… It is okay and left the room with this note, he came after me Mamma I am sorry, then I said koi baat nahi…
Whenever he comes out of the bathroom, i request him to switch off the light and close the door, he came I have switched off the light now you go nad close the door, why do i finish both the jobs.. you also do one job... we are just laughing on this.. and getting agree..
I always encourage Siddharth on doing some good things by saying Good Boy, sometime if I forget to say he will remind me Good Boy to bolo…. Koi baat nahi…

and then was the time for some free art.. few of them really looked good as siddharth after painting his face...

Siddharth played an important role in Mom's school time, when he was growing up with them in the initial years of his life he use to go to Mom's school with her .. Even we have also gone with her to the school we use to get a special treatment as we were the kids of their school teacher.. Till date i remember the fragrance of the mitti in mom's school, the days spent on the grounds in the mist sun light...... we had wonderful time...

Mom is so sweet she made me feel alright if i am not coming, parents are like this they think so simple take life so easy.. I try to pick from her....

Mom, i wish you the best of stay at home!!

Mera wala green!

During the weekends I and Siddharth were doing colours in the activity book… I gave Siddharth the pink colour; he said all of a sudden yeh girl colour hai mera to green hai…

I was amazed, I came to know about this colour after Siddharth was born, and when we were planning for his room, that pink colour is associated with girls and blue with boys…

For Siddharth it was mera wala green….

Thirteen at Mangar!

Mangar, a place around 20 km from Gurgaon, discovered by Parent Group of Siddharth School was decided for a track on Sunday. More than Siddharth I was excited to go, so woke up early 5’o clock on Sunday which is very rare for me on Sundays if my mother listens she won’t believe.

We reached at the meeting point around 7’0 clock in the morning, and started our journey towards Mangar. After parking the cars, counted the no of children, thirteen of them full of energy. With a small round of introduction we started the way up with a path full of stones Siddharth wanted to go on his own, though I was bit cautious. He amazed me as always.

We reached on the top, he wanted to see water and said wapis chalo yahaan Pani Nahi hai, somehow after showing him the insects, grass hopper, berries in beautiful colours we were able to put him back on the track.

There we saw a camel with the mud on him, Siddharth got so excited, he wanted to sit on him.

Then on the last point all the kids amazed all us parents by sitting on a hill of sand, all the parents were clicking this moment with their cameras…

After the food, we decided to track down on a different path full of stones and adventure. The entire parent agreed, more support was from one grandparent.

It was like find a way or make a way, on the way back most of the path Siddharth and other small kids tracked on their own, though it was a bit difficult path. But all the kids made it so adventures by hiking on trees, playing with sticks, picking feathers…. Siddharth made new friends, hiked on the trees with his new friend Rohan.

I and Vivek were so glad to meet Vrinda she is just like a flower so we named her flower….

Finally we could manage the way back to the point we started, but by finding a new way … which was the most adventures part... The most cheerful were the younger one and the elder one (Grand Parent)

Aapka Boss Wekend nahi Karta..

Today morning when Siddharth awake, he asked me Mamma aaj weekend hai na aaj school nahi jaana, i said yes because school is closed today. He replied let’s go and check if it is closed we will come back.
When i was getting ready for office, he came and told me aaj to weekend aap nahi jao, aapka boss weekend nahi karta .. From now only he has understood the concept of Boss.. I said, why don’t you go and speak to my boss he said No..
He has become more cute now, few day back I bought some Chappal and bags . he was trying them on him.. looking very cute..
Siddharth’s understanding has become little mature, he started talking beyond our imagination. So many times he amazes us by saying things, which we cannot imagine at his age… I am sure it is the exposure which these kids get these days….

Chak De INDIA!

This post is not about the review of the movie… But the things happened in such a way that this title was best suitable…

Gag did some booking for the Chak De .. for the night show at 10.45 PM on the independence eve. The dinner was at his house and then all of us were going together for movie.. We started from home around 8.30 PM. To our surprise three was a traffic jam on the road, since it is the mountain road, on one particular turn people overtake and clog the traffic… After waiting for minutes, I and Vivek decided to come out of the car to manage the traffic on the road… We did that in less than 20 minutes.. To every passing car i was communicating please don’t overtake just drive in your lane… People lowered down their windows, thanks you are doing a great job, i thought everyone wants to do the same it just the initiative…

Reached Gag home, had dinner and started for the movie, when we were at a distance of 10 minutes from the movie Hall, Traffic got dead.. I could not tolerate it for more than 20 minutes, and came out of the car.. A young man from one car asked me What’s happening, I said come and help us to solve the traffic your partner will drive the car.. He was Deep.
Finally me , Vivek and Deep were on the road managing traffic, there were people who drove their car to the wrong lane and choked it, Deep was saying it is impossible, I told him don’t worry let’s start telling these people to take their cars back. Once you are on the road, you will be shocked by the attitude of the people. There was a man sitting in a car of Govt of India and driving in wrong lane. I told him if you do the mistake how you will stop others. Many of them refused to take their cars back; I have to share with them there is no way you can reach your destination by driving in wrong lane. I have left my three year old son in the car with my brother and have come down to solve it, kindly co operate.
I was amazed at myself and my confidence of convincing a mass of educated people to take their cars back… and got the title of Jhansi Ki rani from Deep…
We were their at the Movie hall 10 minutes late from the scheduled time, the moment we were inside the hall. Movie was yet not started.. All of us were shouting with joy…
INDIA’s Birthday and Mama’s B’day :

Siddharth was sharing with everyone today is India birthday (her school teacher taught him) and mama’s Birthday (we taught him) In the middle of CHAK DE everyone was wishing me happy birthday and Flag of India was fluttering on the screen….

I always have these mixed feeling of Independence day and my birthday.. Birthday on 15th
August and name Swatantra is the greatest thing after Siddharth happened to me….. Thanks to my Nana Ji and my parents….
The day was full of adventures for Siddharth from Kite Playing to Bungee Jump to meeting Sanika and Sanjay….

It started with the Kite Flying at Siddharth’s School, there we met sanjay. He came to me and asked can I have the kite. I started taking to him, where are your parents, I was amazed at his confidence he came alone, his mom works in a house nearby to the school. Siddharth and Sanjay became friends and played together.
In the evening gag and his friends brought the cake… Birthday kissi ka bhi ho cake will be cut by Siddharth.. He loves to cut cake and eat cakes… After the cake we were down in the park, for the celebration of Independence Day.

There we met Sanika, Siddharth friend (read girl friend) she was wearing a backless dress and big earrings and this boy went crazy on her… He was after Sanika. Usually in park he always wants me to around him, but today he wanted Sanika to be around. If she was going away he was crying. I was shocked Eh mera putar hai…..
The day was full of fun from Chak de to Crazy kiya re…..

Santro & Me!

Saturday working at office! Really don't like as Vivek and Siddharth has holiday and i go office and they have fun together.... miss this fun part..

When today afternoon i was coming back from office in a hot afternoon, i was heading for the lunch at Gaggi home in valley view. All of a sudden the car stopped, petrol got finished in the car.. Scooter ke reserve wali adaat abhi tak gayi nahi.. Vivek and Siddharth were out to Delhi in their program at Nehru Planetarium...

Luckily i could park the car on one side of the road, first called up Gaggi i will be late, what to do on this hot afternoon of MG road in Gurgaon....Thinking who can help me, Called up Surinder, he is an amazing person in finding the solution for all the different kind of work, he was the one who did my help in converting my dream of Siddharth’s room into reality. His works are amazing. He was around, but took him half an hour to reach..

I was thinking i always had good memories of santro..

I locked the car, had a book in my bag.. Started reading it. I was sweating like anything but was enjoying my reading in the car... it reminded me of the day when i was waiting for Vivek at the parking of his office in the santro ( it was raining that day) and made the teddy bear in the car as we both were going for a movie after that....

I was reading the book, Surinder came with two big pepsi bottle filled with petrol. Filled the tank, started for Gaggi home.. His home is in Arravali mountain area of Gurgaon, got stuck in the jam... came back for home, i was too hungry and nothing was cooked at home.

Saw a Dhaba sideways, got the dal , again read the book and then came home to finish the reading....

Thanks Santro, i had enjoyed my weekend with you!!

Siddharth the designer!!

From the puzzle making Siddharth has moved to making organized patterns… I am not sure whether he inheriting this from me or his own innovations…
This animal kingdom he made, year ago…

One afternoon he made this design when no one was around him. His understanding of sequence, symmetry was incredible.. I was feeling proud of him.. The best thing, this is complete his innovation no influence from me… All these designs he mkaes on his own.. The way he put his concentration is remarkable... I asked Siddhrth what is this design he said aeroplane.. how is this an aeroplane.. Block se is his answer...

Today morning he presented another design from his blocks, i am amazed by his innovation…

Find a way or Make a way!

I bought an activity book for Siddharth along with so many other plane, fun with words on my few days back visit to the bangalore from Blossom Book store. The concept of the book is very neat. It contains the activity like find a way, colours, count big small objects…
I remember in our times, getting these kinds of books was so tough. I use to get only one or two it’s kind of puzzles in Comic Champak..

Siddharth was amazing in understanding the concept in a minute and making the way for the caterpillar to reach to the leaf.
Today morning he came to me and asked me Mamma there is no way for the Auntie to reach to the house can u find, I was surprised and actually there was no way for the Auntie to reach to the house the puzzle was printed wrong..
I just made one line out the puzzle and showed him, since the auntie is old so she cannot go in a zig zag manner let her go in the simple way…

It reminded me of solving the puzzle for getting the death by chocolate ice cream for Vivek from Corner House Bangalore.
I went to the shop and asked him about taking the ice cream to Delhi, he refused and said it can only stay for half an hour.

I was in a no mood to leave it, so got the understanding from him how do they make it. What are the ingredients he explained me there is a cake, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Then I requested him can you give me cake and sauce separate and leave the vanilla part the rest all are your specialty and ice cream is the part which will melt and spoil the whole thing. By taking things separate i can prepare DBC complete at home.
And we finally enjoyed DBC after making the way for the caterpillar to eat leaf…

I have learned from Siddharth or he has learned from me... is still a puzzle to solve...

Back to Work!!

I am back to work since one weak.. and I am so busy that could not get time to even write about it..

It was difficult for Siddharth to adjust again to the fact that Mummy is working.. Hats off to him he is so mature.. I explained him baby mamma is going to work now, mamma will earn some money for your toys, puzzles and many more things you want.. And mamma wants to work because the way I love to be with you the same way I love to work.. .. He said ok.. Now everyday he asks me money earn ho Gaya do mujhe…

I joined a company manufactures food ingredients. My role is into business development.

The day is exciting, challenging, thrilling and enjoyable.. starts with playing a puzzle with Siddharth in his classroom to going back and picking him from the day care.

Last one week was hectic in terms of understanding the business, the great thing is I have two people reporting to me.. I was amazed at myself the way i have handled these two people beautifully in the last one week.

They say... You cannot learn swimming by sitting on the bank of the river…it has come so true for me… I have come to know so many other positive things about me by joining this job…

I am sure it will be setting another milestone in my professional life…

Weekend Full of Masti...

This weekend was full of masti, fun and challenges…had to write about it…
All of us started it with a jigsaw puzzle of 100 pieces Jungle safari.. … Siddharth was looking at both mamma and papa … app kya kar rahe ho, then with the momentum catching up he also started to find the pieces and our team could put all the pieces together.. It was amazing to see it from top that it deserved a lovely picture..

Sunday morning was a visit to the Siddharth’s Dadu and Daddi’s house… he had the fun there with Sugar cane juice, litchi, mast aloo ka sabji, and mangoes…

There he got the interactive and educational game sent byChachu and Chachi from US (Thanks Piya) … when we opened, Siddharth was so excited that in few minutes we all were on the floor saying BINGO!! (A part of the game where if u completes one line you have to take ur arms out and say it)
In the night we discovered a young TT player in us, yes Siddharth.. at Mammu’s office nearby we went for TT play.. Leaving all of us in a shock stage Siddharth played very well and hit the ball for many no of times…
I was also able to manage a good game after many years but Siddharth was WOW!

Garmi Kee Chutiyaan …

Siddharth summer vocation started on 5th may…

Now a days there are so many hype for the summer camp, I don’t really believe into it.. I really wonder whether they are so useful yesterday morning during the walk around 6.30 I saw one mother dragging her child to the school bus for the summer camp… I felt pity on both …so early in the morning a child of age 3.5 years is woken up and send to the activities…

Thanks to my vocation, I am all the time available for Siddharth, and the amount of energy he is having i don’t need to any brain exercise.
I am sure Siddharth is enjoying his holidays with me, we have the fun all time from a shower bath in the morning at the park, juggling with the puzzle, making roti in the kitchen, playing with the sand in the evening and to the book reading in the night……

l

After looking at all the above funny pictures, it makes me sad that holidays for both us are vanishing very fast…and there is so much to do in next few days….

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
