Back to School!!

Siddharth school reopened today after a long summer vacation of nearly two months… These two months went with the joy of being together for the whole day.. Being a boss of ur own work gave me an advantage of doing the work for the flexible timing..
I and Vivek dropped him today at school, the moment he was at the school gate; there was an excitement in his eyes…
Good morning turtle, good morning plants, good morning fishes, good morning Jaishree didi ( they call didi to their class teacher) he was saying to everyone in a very sweet gesture and great smile on his face..

I missed him thru the day , these holidays I also went through my summer holidays, we painted pots, piggy bank he got from his nanni. All the kids brought their own scrap books, they have made during the holidays. They have shared their work. Siddharth came home and told me Mamma mera kaam itna zada hai kee didi kal bhi share kargee.. aur humne simmi didi ( the other teacher in the class) ko nahi dikhaya to school main hee rakhna ..
There were many new things I came to know about Siddharth. He is now a kid who understands each and every talk we do at house. We cannot talk in codes he can decode it. He loves doing paint, playing puzzles, playing memory games, creating stories ( I started Siddharth blog also. ) playing hide and seek. He love challenges and to beat other in the game of kog works. He is grown up in weight and height as the all other kids in his class were today morning..
And the most surprising was the blocks he made today evening..
Siddharth beta you have beaten Mamma today in this game…. Love u baby!!
Bachoon ke nazuk hathoon ko asmaan chu le ne do..
Do char kitabein pad key eh bhee hum jaise ban jayngee…

Hai Zanoon!!

Jisko marna tha who mare nahi aur jisee nahi marna tha who mar gaya… this was the Siddharth's words the moment we were out after watching movie Newyork…

Today when my brother came he told him the below version of the movie…. He watched yesterday night…

Teen log hote hai.. woh college mein hote hai woh freinds ban jaate hai ek ladki hoti hai aur two boys bahut badee hote hai college jatee hai.. who race dekhte hai phir do bade boys friend ban jaate aur ek wife ..

College se bahar aake mazee karte hai.., who aadmi who baat soch raha hota… army hoti hai.. jo eske ghar pe shot kartee hai.. aadmi ek uncle ko bolta unhone hamare ghar pe shoot kara.. phir who army uskoo bolta hai lekin aadmi ko police ne hee bola hota kee shoot karo aur usne aadmi ke ghar pe guns rakhi hoti hai..

Bas itni hee yaaad hai.. ab main khelne ja raha hoon…
I was amazed the way Siddharth was telling the story to my brother… Hai Zannon hai zannon sa seene main .. yeh ladka itni cute batein karta hai.... What say?

A cute conversation!!

When I was feeding food to Siddharth today a cute conversation happened :
Siddharth: Mamma aap apne tummy mein ek baby rakho.. mujhe ek baby chahiye,,,

Siddharth : Kaise
Me: We can adopt a baby there are many babies who doesn’t have parent so we can adopt
Siddharth: Hum uska khyaal rakh sake, aur usko paal ke appna baby bana le..
Me: ( by this time amazed ) : haanzi..
Siddharth: Mamma who log aapko phone karte hai kee babby le lo..
Me: You want a boy or girl

Making a new way!!

Siddharth has started exploring his own world. He has new circle of friends, which he made on his own.
Yesterday during his skating one boy was regularly cheering for Siddharth, Being a curious person I asked Siddharth do you know his name. He said mama who jab dusri team mein hota hai tabh bhee mere liye cheers karta hai… Sab log ek dusre se school puchte hai, kaun se standard mein hai…Aur sir bolte hai batein nahi karo.. main nahi bolta…
Siddharth use to be a very shy kid, I am amazed the way he answers the question people ask him about his school and class. There is a different kind of confidence he shows. Many a times the kids come with their own ways..
I could see the reflection of his thoughts in his play too, the house which he made today with his blocks showing me a new way of life he is making..

Good luck Siddharth your mama is proud of you beta!!!

Socha hai!!

I was reading a book to Siddharth on fishes. The moment I read that fishes doesn’t have legs, Siddharth gave me an annoyed look and said Mamma Fishes don’t have legs, we can see it clearly. We must write a letter to the publisher of book… I was left with no answers to these thoughts of him ........and asking my self socha hai....... We were going to the basement parking, and we spotted a German shepherd dog, named Simba. Then all of a sudden Siddharth asks me Mamma do you know why this dog has been named Simba. I was clueless. Looking at me he said Mamma This dog looks like a lion in the story of Lion King. The lion was named Simba in the story so this dog is also named Simba. People scared from him the way we do from Lion, so this is Simba….
He said these with a great innocence. Many times kids amaze us with their thoughts and words. They are very pure and innocence, which I believe is the purest thing on the earth.
Aasman hai neela kyoon.. paaani gila gila kyoon…….Socha hai………is the song playing in my heart now…………………..

Logic or love!!

I had a voucher of 100 Rupees from Shopper stop, which were to expire by month end. Today being Sunday holiday, decided to redeem it. Siddharth being the cutest choice, I decided to give it to him, he agreed to a toy under 100 rupees. He was excited.
At the shop he liked the cars, a usual thing for any boy to like it. I looked at the puzzle under 100 rupees a usual thing for me as I believe into more of a utility. We both were debating on it which goes as below:
Mama: Siddharth you already have 10 cars, what a big deal, it will add one more to it.
Siddharth: Mama I need it as I loved it and I don’t have this model. We have many puzzles also.
Mama: (being more polite) Baby, look if u buys the puzzle you can show to everyone and give them the challenge to do it. They will say wow..
Siddharth: Mama we can do the same with other puzzle also, everybody has not seen many of the puzzle. And then with a sad look on his face he says , Ok whatever you say with eyes looking somewhere else.

By this time I decided to buy the car, I don’t know it was his logic or my love which convinced me. But the moment he saw the cars. He came gave me a big hug and a million dollar smile………… And there is no logic after this:)

Yahaan ke hum Sikander!!

The night of June 18, 2009, there was another night on june 18, 1998. More than 10 years has been passed, when a batch of 28 girls passed out from an institute which has now become a deemed university.

The girls and boys, but I am biased to write here only about the girls of Diploma 93. A batch of girls with their own conviction of life, with their own point of view of life. As we own a lot to each other in some or other way for shaping the good life we are living today. The batch teachers use to call them the most creative, the most naughtiest and the most energetic batch of students. Yes I don’t know , was there any batch like us after 1998. But yes I know the batch of diploma 93, has set the trends, made the history now in the college. As they use to say our names will be written in golden words.

Nahi samjhe hai jo humee to kya jataa hai, haari bazzi ko zitna humee atta hai, Yahaan ke hum sikander was the favourite songs, they use to sing when they were together.I dont remember who among them created this song. But everyone loved to song as it was the symbol of their love and unity they posseed.
All of them with different names, with different attitude towards life but balanced so well. They will do many things together, almost all the 28 girls, and the bonding they discovered on this night 10 year back. I remember till today.

I was showing the picture to one of my new friend in new life today, that it reminded me all of you. Now each one of them are leading a new life, giving birth to new life and shaping a new life.

I dedicate this post to you all!! Where ever you are whatever you are doing may you leave the marks in the same way as you did 10 year back.
Good luck to all of my friends of Diploma 93.

Geometry of Life!!

Siddharth has learned to add numbers, these are the first addition sum he has done. He loves doing math. I went to kitchen to cook food, Siddharth wanted to do maths. He came and sat on the shelf and started doing his math.
It reminds the same passion of me about math. I use to do math in the night with the Binaca songs on transistor. The songs were playing till four o’ clock in the morning and I will also do the math sums till that time. Specially in the class XI and XII. Maths was my favourite subject from class X. I still remember if any of my favorite song came, I use to leave my book , raise the volume and sing the song. Start math with another song…
I loved the darkness in the night and the voice of only a song and my pen on the paper solving math sums of Trigonometry, derivative, Integral and Statistics. My mind is getting lost in the sums of Statistic..
How did I found the concentration of doing maths in the below songs, and scored maximum in Maths, is a sum to be solved still… may be Siddharth can solve this also…

Pukarta chala hoon main, gali gali bahaar kee..
Bus ek sham zulaf kee….

Balancing Act!!

Siddharth started skating classes, and we both started swimming.. we are balancing on water and earth!! He has shown tremendous amount of energy in skating... i can see a different confidence in his eyes and good flexibility in his body.. yesterday me and vivek both were watching him doing skating and realized he has grown up.. Siddharth gets up very amazingly when he fall during skating...
In swimming he is my coach, i am unable to float myself in water, and then he will come to me Mama aapko bilkul bhi heavy nahi rakhna, loose kar do itna asaan hai.. dekho i wil teach you and then he will do the race with Vivek in water... i was thinking i got less than what i wanted and more than what i expected!!
That's the balance in life!!!

Garmi kee chutiyaan!!

Siddharth's summer holiday started since a week back he has got school home work which is very different from the school home work we did during our summer holiday.. as below
  1. Go with your mama and papa for a cycling in the morning
  2. collect leaves, stones etc from the places u visit
  3. count the no of rooms, fans etc at your home and make a note in your holiday booklet
  4. Observe shape and colours
  5. notice things which are soft, rough and smooth..

I read this page to siddharth and by evening he has noticed that my skin is soft and mama's skin is hard.. dari is rough ... it is a real fun even i am feeling like to be a child again.. specially when siddharth talks creative things, yesterday when i was reading a concept about gravity to him he said mama kitna achaa hota na agar space niche hota aur gravity upar hum sab astranaut hote..

Siddharth ke Batein.... Stories of Siddharth - Part I

Now a days Siddharth talks in a very cute and smart way so i thought i will write a series of his talks with me... This one happened when we were coming from his school today..
Usually In the afternoon after picking Siddharth sometime we go the bank if I have some job to do, one day Siddharth said mama I get bored so u finish your job before picking me up from school. I promised him to agree. A day before yesterday we saw one very interesting game named Mastermind at one of the friends place.. And Siddharth wanted me to buy for him.. Since it was a long time that I bought toys for him so I thought of buying this one for him. We decided to go after his school..
Today when we were coming back from school, Siddharth asked me Mama are we going direct home or somewhere else and he reminded me of my promise. I asked Siddharth we went yesterday to market, then he said very cutely Mama mein kal bhool gaya tha….
I was just laughing and thinking he is a smart kid of an innocent mom…………

A cute conversation!!

Today morning while bathing Siddharth, looking at how thin he has become a worried mom ask him a question which leads to a cute conversation, which I thought deserves a post
Mama: Siddharth you eat very less baby?
Siddharth: Mama mujhe bada nahi hona..
Mama (very surprisingly) : why bachaa?
Siddharth: agar mein bada ho gaya to mujhe fun game khelne ke liye time nahi milegaa.. mujhe office jana hoga..
Mama: which fun game
Siddharth : Like Mario, Icelander .. look Papa always say play alone I don’t have time I have to work..
Mama: No Siddharth u can always find time, like mama does sometime..
Siddharth(with a big smile) : Fine I will work from home and make my office at home..
We both were laughing, and he still eats less plays more…. But I was amazed to know the way a six year old is thinking….

Josh Trip 3 - GOA

Long weekend and amazing offers at airlines.. made it possible to book the air ticket for complete family for GOA in a nice resort. The journey started on 9th April, reached resort and headed for the nearby beach Vagator.. Sidddharth was asking me where is sand, water.. as he wanted to play with his new sand kit at GOA.. siddharth playing with his new sand kit at Vagator beach
The sunset was beautiful at the vagator beach, the color of the water was deep blue during the sunset. Next day morning we were roaming around the resort to get a bike on rent, started moving out of the resort and took a lift from a man who dropped us at the place where all the people live who give bike on rent. Then Vivek saw a bike standing in someones backyard, and he said i want this bike only. We tried to look for the owner of this bike and found him finally.. below we all on the new rented bike. and then here vivek and siddharth on a bike in water at Baaga Beach, i must say when siddharth was far he made scare the mom's heart... and when they were back siddharth was talking about that the driver drove it slow...
This was Siddharth's first experience in ocean, initially he was scared but then he was going too far in ocean that he made me scared...

and this was really amazing when siddharth hide himself under the sand....
I remember when i went to GOA three years back alone on a business trip, the taxi driver took me to arambol beach and i love it going there since that day, but this time it was fascinating to watch and click siddharth on this beach when he was running after the birds to catch them..
The luckiest thing happened during our visit to Chaopra Fort, the view of the sea from this fort is beautiful, you feel like sitting there. On the way up to Chaopora fort, i lost my wallet, it was kept in a bag and by mistake i hold the bag in a reverse position, Vivek was coming behind me when he mentioned about it and i could check my keys and vivek wallet. when we reached up on the fort, i looked for my wallet in the bag and it was not there in the bag.. I told vivek i am going back and want to look for it..i went back and found it on the way and i was feeling so lucky... so this trip should be named as lucky Josh TRIP... what say?
Below is our names together on the sand....
yadein bus yadein rah jaati hai.................

Journey of one year... Truly Natural

Today is the 1st birthday of Truly Natural... Truly natural i gave this name to my company as we deal into completely natural products.... We celebrate the birthday from the day we are out on the earth but we born the day we are conceived in the womb.. the name comes later...
We celebrated today the 1st birthday with a cake cut and a special dinner... and a movie on hope...JAI ho!! Thirteen February, Truly Natural was conceived. I conceived an idea of staring on my own..
This one year has been full of challenge, initial days were as tough as they are today... we did a good business and crossed one milestone of turnover... The main challenge was working from home , managing Siddharth, completing orders on time..overcoming challenges which were just thrown on me... but i loved all this... i loved to be free, loved to be on my own, loved that Vivek showered his support, loved the way Siddharth calls Mamma's company name, loved to be my own boss, loved my first order, loved my first challenge, loved my fears, love to be woken up in the nights about the dreams, loved to work on those early morning, loved my article in newspaper, loved the hope from nothing, loved the different views about me and my company.....loved to write this post!!!
Happy Birthday Truly Natural!!

Make a rule or break a rule!

We made one rule at the home for Siddharth, that he can watch one cartoon a day on TV. Else it is a never ending process for him.

For the last many days he stopped having lunch at school and the Tiffin will be untouched. Sometimes it made me sad, as I prepare special lunch for him of his own choice and being a mother it is always in mind mere putar ne khana khaya ya nahi….

So we made another rule, that if Siddharth doesn’t finish his lunch he cannot watch cartoon. Whenever I go to pick Siddharth from the school, he is finishing his lunch and the moment he will see me, he will run towards me and say Mamma aaj to mujhe one cartoon dekhne dego…. …. It makes me laugh on his innocence…

Sometimes if he is in a mood to watch another cartoon, he breaks the rule so smartly that I even cannot think of doing this... The moment one cartoon finishes he will say Mamma the first cartoon was not a cartoon it was an advertisement... and it was a big advertisement… I am again laughing and thinking that what a smart idea to break the rule…..

And I am again thinking…………to make a new rule…………………..

Jaipur to Jaisalmer ..josh trip One !

This new year started with a trip to Jaipur, the plan was to go on the weekend before new year, but could not go as we all got busy into work. So it was postponed to next weekend, as it was destine to have the twist in the tale so it was postponed. The twist happened when we just reached Jaipur, we took one wrong turn to the way of resort at Jaipur and that turn became the turning point. The drive to the road was so beautiful that we decided to move further and the thoughts came to my mind let’s drive further and go to Jaisalmer the desert city… Vivek was like are you crazy it is drive of another 500 km or more .. I was convinced as we have four days off we can do it and let’s go… The car was stopped at one point and we did some search on the google, thanks to internet which made the plan successful and added flavours to it… first checked about the distance, then decided to have a halt at Jodhpur and move further..

Day 1 : 1st Jan On the way to Jodhpur
The sun was going for the day, and it made the view so beautiful... We stopped for a while ... It was amazing and after driving the car close to 600 KM we were not feeling tired and Siddharth and Vivek has all the energy to climb on the mountain of stones and cactus…they are looking so fresh in this photo..
Reached Jodhpur stayed at one of the heritage property Karni Bhawan, very good resort good food and good ambience and celebrated our first 600 km with the good music of rajsthani sitar….

Day 2: Jodhpur city
Second day morning was so fresh., visited the Mehrangarh Fort ( meharn means the citadel of sun) this was the first fort we visted together , quite useful and learning.. Siddharth wanted to play with the Top machines, he was so curious to see a big fort.. The another amazing fact, from the fort you can see blue house, in the old time King use to paint the house of Brahmin with the Blue color so that he can know from his fort looking at the color of the house, this tradition is still continued and gives us a magnificent view. Siddharth remembers this in his own way the people to whom king lovedhe painted their house with blue color.. On the walls of the fort there are few paintings still there called as fosil paintings. After the grand visit to the fort the journey towards Jaisalmer was started, to the way to Pokhran the city of birth for the nuclear atoms in INDIA, and started the way to desert.. Siddharth first step on the sand, on the way we saw the fields of Sarsoon in the desert, gives an example of hope and opportunity… We saw huge windmills on the way… and finally reached Sam dunes our final destination.. we were just 60 KM away from India Pakistan Border……

Day 3: 3rd Jan Jaisalmer Jaisalmer Fort,

the only fort in INDIA where people are still residing inside the fort. There are shops, hotels and homes, temples inside the fort. There is a tradition, whenever someone gets marry they print their name outside the house and the same is written till the next marriage in the same house. We had a wonderful visit to this fort.. and started towards the sand dunes… Siddharth was excited for the ride on camel… We were going in our own tune.. and just forget to get the fuel for car.. the car stopped .. Siddharth sat on the driving wheel and Vivek was pushing the car… got the lift from one of the local person and got the fuel for the car… On the camel ride Siddharth was getting uncomfortable and he decided to walk with the camel man.. it was quite funny me and vivek were on the camel and Siddharth was walking… It was good time at sand, watched the local dance, the sunset at the Jaisalmer…

clicked at sand dunes..
Moments of Siddharth excitement to see sand everywhere...
Day 4: Back to Gurgaon
Early morning started out the journey for Gurgaon. Someone suggested it is better to take Bikaner route on the way back and it was right suggestion, the road from jaisalmer to Bikaner was too good no traffic single road but straight …
Celebrated back to Gurgaon with the Gajar ka halwa in the winters here….. Yes the memories of the fun are still alive……
our first steps together at sand .. jaisalmer
yadein rah jati hain.........

Happy New Year 2009!

We went to meet my brother on 31st DEC, he wished Siddharth happy new year, he asked me mama what is new year. I explained Siddharth today is the last day on the calendars of 2008, from tomorrow onwards a new year will start .. we believe that the new year gives you the new opportunities so you wish everyone Happy new year! He said in a very innocent manner no one has wished me happy new year! I immediately hugged him and wished him happy new year… We reached home, he saw our Gardener coming to our house.. he asked me Mamma what mamu told me in English was it happy ed I got immediately and corrected him Happy new year! He instantly went to our Gardener and wished him Happy new year! That was very sweet of him i was asking to myself are we also so adapting the way these kids are!

Here we are in the new year! Many good things happened… 2008 brought a turning point in my life, left the job and joined on a mission to fulfil my dreams! Siddharth shaped into a child with lots of energy, understanding, enthusiasm, and inquisitive. We moved to our own apartment to the home of our dreams…..

I always remembered that new year is like a blank page, fill it with the writing of love, happiness and togetherness! wish you all a great year with many more moments of love and togetherness!
